Amy Winehouse checks into rehab - reports

Amy Winehouse has reportedly entered drug rehab after she was treated in hospital last week.

According to The Sun, the singer has been admitted to the Causeway rehab centre in Essex, a remote £10,000-a-week retreat.

Reports elsewhere had suggested that Winehouse had flown to the US to undertake drug treatment, but it is now believed that she has remained in the UK, at Causeway, which is located on a private island off the coast.

The Daily Mirror says her decision to enter rehab followed an argument between her and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's parents over the situation.

"It broke Amy's heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting," explained a source. "That was when she realised the drink and drugs were causing problems for everyone."
