Hilton to sing in musical thriller

Paris Hilton is joining the cast of a new musical thriller called 'Repo! The Genetic Opera'.

Variety reports that the film is set in 2056 when a plague nearly wipes out the human race and survival depends on whether you can afford an organ transplant.

Hilton will play the daughter of the film's villain (Paul Sorvino), an organ transplant magnate.

She will sing in the film, which will feature musical numbers ranging from rock to opera.
