Shilpa Shetty set for Australian Big Bro?

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is reported to be joining the line-up for the Australian version of 'Big Brother'.

According to ITV News, the actress, who recently appeared in 'Celebrity Big Brother' in the UK, is due fly to Australia next month to promote her new film and the show's producers are eager to get her on board.

A spokesman for Australia's Channel Ten said: "We are trying to work out just how long she can spend in the house."

Executive producer Tim Toni said that he hoped that Shetty would be able to "liven up" the house.

The actress was at the centre of controversy in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house when viewers accused other contestants of bullying her.

More recently she caused a storm when Hollywood actor Richard Gere kissed her in public at an AIDS awareness event in India, where public displays of affection are largely taboo.
