Wax figure of Kate Moss is unveiled

Supermodel Kate Moss became the latest star attraction at Madame Tussauds today.

Her wax figure - reclining on a couch in a Manhattan loft style apartment for a photo shoot - was unveiled at the London attraction in the area reserved for A-list celebrities.

Visitors will be able to pose with her wax figure and be photographed to produce a fictional glossy magazine cover called Iconic.

Ms Moss lent one of her favourite vintage dresses - a black slip dress - to help inspire the designers.

A spokesman for Madame Tussauds said the 33-year-old had not been able to attend the launch as she had other commitments, but she was "very pleased" with the outcome.

"She is not just popular in the fashion world and the world of the media, she is also popular with visitors," he said. "We have a poll of guests every month and she is always in the top five of figures that they would like to see in here."
