Maximo Park recording second album

Maximo Park are working on the follow-up to their Mercury-nominated debut album 'A Certain Trigger'.

Billboard reports that the quintet are recording the album with Pixies and Foo Fighters producer Gil Norton.

The band plan to record 13 songs for the album, which they are recording in London.

Among the songs expected to feature on the album are 'Girls Who Play Guitars', 'Nosebleed' and 'Russian Literature'.
