Drunk driving charge for Paris Hilton
Reality television star Paris Hilton has been charged with drunk driving, following her arrest earlier this month as she drove to get a late-night burger.
Los Angeles City Attorney's spokesperson Frank Mateljan said that the 25-year-old star had been charged with two misdemeanour counts: driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.
An initial court appearance was set for this Thursday but Hilton is not required to attend this, according to the city attorney's spokesperson.

Hilton was pulled over and later arrested on 7 September after police officers noticed her driving erratically. She later claimed that she was merely in a hurry to get a burger.
