Josh Ritter to release Ireland-only EP

Idaho singer-songwriter Josh Ritter is to release a strictly limited edition Irish-only 'Good Man' EP to coincide with his Electric Picnic appearance on Sunday 3 September.

The EP will open with an edit of 'Good Man' from Ritter's current 'Animal Years' album, continuing with 'Blame It On the Tetons' (a Modest Mouse cover version); new song 'Harbortown'; 'Peter Killed the Dragon', an unreleased outtake from the album; 'Monster Ballads' (original version); and a demo version of 'In The Dark'.

The package will also include the video for 'Lillian Egypt' and a home movie for 'Peter Killed the Dragon' filmed backstage in Chicago recently.

Ritter will also be returning to An Grianán in Letterkenny this September for two shows - Monday 4 September or Tuesday 5 September - after his interrupted concert there last March.
