Taraf de Haidouks for World Music Festival

Eastern Europe Gypsy music from Taraf de Haidouks and African troubadour Richard Bona will feature at Cork's third World Music Festival, which will be hosted at the Cork Opera House throughout July.

Taraf de Haidouks will perform at the Cork Opera House on 5 July, followed by Cameroonian singer/bass player Bona playing his own songs in his native language on 17 July.

English folk musician Richard Thompson will make his first appearance in Cork on 25 July at the Cork Opera House.

A World Music Weekend, featuring both internationally and local DJs and bands will take place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend in the Half Moon Theatre.
