Mexican Pets announce Whelans show

Reunited Dublin band the Mexican Pets are to play Dublin in May.

The band, which split in 1997, will play Whelans on Friday 12 May with support from The Coldspoon Conspiracy.

The previous night, Thursday 11 May, the Mexican Pets will play a free show at Róisín Dubh in Galway with Large Mound supporting.

Tickets for the Dublin show, priced ¤12, will go on sale on Tuesday 18 April from Dublin outlets Road Records and the Sound Cellar.

On Wednesday 26 April RTÉ 2fm's Dan Hegarty will broadcast a 1995 session with the Mexican Pets on his show at midnight.
