Model Campbell expected to be charged
Supermodel Naomi Campbell is expected to be charged with assault in New York after allegedly attacking a woman at her home in the city, the NYPD said tonight.
Detective Theresa Farello said the alleged victim, a 42-year-old Hispanic woman, was in hospital receiving stitches for a cut to her head after the incident at around 1pm Irish time.
Campbell is at the Midtown North police precinct where she is set to be charged with assault, Det Farello said.
She was arrested at her home on Manhattan's Park Avenue, where the incident allegedly occurred earlier following some sort of dispute with the woman.
