Lohan denies saying she was bulimic

Teen actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly denied that she told Vanity Fair magazine that she suffered from bulimia.

According to Teen People, the 19-year-old actress says that her words were misused in the Vanity Fair article, which claimed that she admitted to having an eating disorder and dabbling in drugs.

According to Vanity Fair, Lohan said: "I was making myself sick. I was sick and I had people sit me down and say, 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself'."

But, according to Teen People, Lohan has now said: "The words that I gave to the writer for Vanity Fair were misused and misconstrued, and I'm appalled with the way it was done."

Vanity Fair has defended the article, saying: "Evgenia Peretz is one of our most reliable reporters. Every word Lindsay Lohan told her is on tape. Vanity Fair stands by the story."
