Farrell gets Miami Vice love interest
Chinese-born actress Gong Li is to play Colin Farrell's onscreen love interest in the movie version of 1980s police series 'Miami Vice'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the Michael Mann-directed film stars Farrell and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx as Detectives Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs.
Li, whose credits include '2046', 'Raise the Red Lantern' and 'Farewell My Concubine', will play Isabella, the Chinese-Cuban wife of an international crime syndicate boss.
Mann is also serving as writer and producer on the film, which is due out in July 2006.
