Snow Patrol set to join U2 on tour

Snow Patrol have announced that they will be supporting U2 on a series of their European dates, including one of the Croke Park shows.

The Northern rockers will join the start of the tour in Brussels on 10 June, and will then play with U2 in Manchester on 14 June before rejoining the tour for the Dublin show on 24 June in Croke Park.

They will also play with U2 in Berlin and Paris in July.

Snow Patrol are currently working on their fourth album and have been nominated for the Best Irish Band award at this year's Meteor Ireland Music Awards which take place in Dublin on 24 February.
