U2 shortlisted for the Brit Awards

U2 are among the nominees for this year's Brit Awards, which take place in London on 9 February.

They are nominated in the Best International Group and International Album categories.

Westlife are also nominated in the Best Pop Act category.

Franz Ferdinand lead the shortlist with five nominations: Best British Group, Album, Rock Act, Live Act and Breakthrough Act.
