Travolta, Gandolfini for new movie

John Travolta and 'The Sopranos' star James Gandolfini are to play the leads in a new drama called 'Lonely Hearts'.

Variety reports that the film is based on the true story of two detectives who solved the 'Lonely Heart Murders' in the US in the 1940s.

Todd Robinson, whose writing credits include the film 'White Squall' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit', will make his directorial debut with the movie.

Production on 'Lonely Hearts' is due to begin in Florida in March.
