KD Lang announces Dublin concert

Multiple Grammy Award-winner KD Lang has announced that she will return to Dublin to perform one intimate concert at the Olympia Theatre.

The concert, scheduled for 6 December, will include a diverse range of songs from the singer's career to date.

Lang is also due to perform a tracks from her forthcoming album, 'Hymns of the 49th Parallel', which is a tribute album to her favourite Canadian songwriters, including Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Ron Sexsmith.

Following her stint fronting The Reclines, Lang went on to establish a successful solo career, which included a Grammy Award for her 2003 collaboration with Tony Bennett entitled 'Wonderful World'.

Tickets for Lang's Olympia date go on sale this Friday, 2 July from the Olympia Theatre Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
