Britney's sister set for TV series

Kids' channel Nickelodeon is close to giving the green light to a new 13-episode series starring Britney Spears' younger sister, Jamie Lynn.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the as-yet-untitled comedy show will take place in a boarding school.

12-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is currently a cast member on Nickelodeon's comedy sketch series 'All That'.

Her new show is set to debut next year.
