George Harrison, Prince for Hall of Fame

George Harrison and Prince will be among next year's inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Harrison, who died in 2001, will be the third member of The Beatles to join the Hall, following John Lennon (1992) and Paul McCartney (1999). The band was honoured in 1988.

Funk rocker Prince will join fellow inductees Jackson Browne, ZZ Top, Traffic, Bob Seger and The Dells at the nineteenth annual ceremony to be held on 15 March at New York's Waldorf-Astoria hotel.
