Fanning broadcasts Beatles Radio Special

To celebrate the release of The Beatles 'let It Be...Naked', Dave Fanning will broadcast a Beatles Radio Special on RTÉ 2FM between 6pm and 7.30pm on Monday 17 November.

The show will feature John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison discussing the making of the 'Let It Be' album with additional quotes from Yoko Ono, George Martin and Apple Boss Neil Aspinal.

'Let It Be...Naked' is the no frills, back-to-basics album that The Beatles first set out to make back in 1969.

In the turmoil of the break-up of the band, the album was re-produced by Phil Spector.

Now, using digital technology, the never-heard band's take of the original sessions have been rediscovered and will be released by EMI Records.
