Madonna in legal battle over video

Madonna is being sued for copyright infringement by Samuel Bourdin, son of the late fashion photographer, Guy Bourdin.

Bourdin, who has claimed ownership of his father's images, is accusing Madonna of re-enacting poses and images from at least 11 of the photographs in her video for 'Hollywood'.

The photographer's son is seeking unspecified damages from Madonna, her record company, MTV and director Jean-Baptiste Mondino, for use of the images.

Most of the fashion photographs of Guy Bourdin were published in French Vogue from the 1950s to the late 1980s.
