Lord of the Rings for London stage

A musical version of 'The Lord of the Rings' is coming to the London stage.

It is set to open in Spring 2005, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the complete publication of JRR Tolkien's trilogy.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, West End producer Kevin Wallace said the production would cost $13m.
