Noyce lining-up next movie project

Australian director Phillip Noyce is to develop a new film about the Northern Alliance's assault on the Afghanistan city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Noyce could also direct the project.

Noyce's historical drama 'Rabbit-Proof Fence' was recently named Best Picture at the Australian Film Institute Awards.
