Backstreet Boys sue label for $100 Million
The Backstreet Boys have filed a $100 million lawsuit against their record label.
The American boyband are suing Zomba Music Group for breach of contract, intentional interference with contract, trademark infringement and unfair competition.
Their lawyer said that the band is asking for $75 million for violation of trademark, $5 million for a lost advance and at least $20 million in punitive damages.
Between 1994 and 2001, the Backstreet Boys released three albums through Zomba, selling more than 65 million copies.
