Ash frontman guests on Coldplay single

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler is featured on the B-side to Coldplay's new single, 'The Scientist'.

The Northern Irish musician plays guitar on '1.36', while TV comedian Simon Pegg (from 'Spaced' on Channel 4) provides backing vocals on the track.

The two are friends of Coldplay and are regularly seen at the band's gigs.

'The Scientist' is due for release on 11 November.

Coldplay will play the Point Depot, Dublin on Friday 25 and Sunday 27 October.
