Aaliyah investigation focus on plane owner

American authorities are investigating the owner of the plane that crashed in the Bahamas, killing R 'n' B singer Aaliyah and eight others.

Gilbert Chacon is accused of withholding maintenance logs and records for the plane despite repeated requests by investigators to hand them over, according to court documents.

The documents also claim Chacon lied about his connection to the airplane.
