Catherine Zeta-Jones gives birth to girl

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl.

Carys Zeta Douglas was born yesterday morning weighing six pounds, 12 ounces.

The couple's first child, Dylan Michael Douglas, was born in 2000.

Douglas also has a 24-year-old son, Cameron, from his previous marriage.

Less than a month ago Zeta-Jones won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as Velma in 'Chicago', also performing a song at the award ceremony.
