A 'Marketplace' reports on canvassing in various Dublin constituencies during the 1992 general election campaign. With over a third of the electorate in Dublin, the report follows five candidates in five constituencies.
For Fianna Fáil candidate G V Wright, reception at the door steps proves to be difficult at times. Mervyn Taylor of the Labour Party receives a warmer welcome among voters in Dublin South-West.
Olivia Mitchell of Fine Gael is shown canvassing in the Stillorgan area of South Dublin while Helen Keogh of the Progressive Democrats is in Dun Laoghaire.
Pat McCartan of the Democratic Left party canvasses in a housing estate in the Dublin North East constituency.
