Albert Reynolds of Fianna Fáil and Ted Nealon of Fine Gael give their opinions on who will lead the country on the morning of the election of the Taoiseach.

On the morning of the election for Taoiseach, with Fianna Fáil in need of the support of independents to form a government, Albert Reynolds is determined to give nothing away on any deals that might have been been made.

Ted Nealon of Fine Gael is pragmatic, and can only really see Charles Haughey being elected Taoiseach, although he predicts another election within a year.
