To commemorate the centenary of the birth of writer Máirtiín Ó Cadhain, RTÉ Television commissioned the documentary 'Rí an Fhocail' and restored the 1967 television documentary 'Máirtiín Ó Cadhain sa gCnocán Glas'.

In this extract Máirtín Ó Cadhain sums up his life and expresses the hope that in the future people will read his work.

In 2006 RTÉ released a DVD with both 'Rí and Fhocail' and 'Máirtín Ó Cadhain sa gCnocán Glas' to commemorate the birth of the writer Máirtín Ó Cadhain.
