Ireland wins at Eurovision for second time.

The 1980 Eurovision Song Contest would see Ireland win for a second time. Johnny Logan represented Ireland singing 'What's Another Year' written by Shay Healy. The song went on to hit the number one spot in the UK charts.

Presented here is a preview film of Ireland's winning entry to the 25th Eurovision Song Contest, screened in a compilation programme for all the entries. 

The 1980 Eurovision Song Contest was held on 19 April 1980 in The Hague. 

Israel, the 1979 winner, had refused to host the show for financial reasons and Denmark stepped up to the plate in the their place.
