In the opening sequence of the arts programme 'Anthology' from 1970 Neil Jordan appears playing classical guitar at Sinnotts bar.

His directorial debut was the film 'Angel' in 1982 and was shortly followed by Mona Lisa and a Company of Wolves. Jordan went on to direct critically acclaimed films such as 'The Crying Game', 'Interview with the Vampire', 'The Butcher Boy', and 'Breakfast on Pluto'.
