    President Kennedy takes leave of his Irish hosts at the US ambassador's residence in the Phoenix Park in Dublin on the final morning of his visit. He is shown with President Éamon de Valera and US ambassador Matthew McCloskey at the door. Other public figures present include Sinéad de Valera, wife of the Irish president, and Taoiseach Seán Lemass. He waves to the crowd outside as he boards his helicopter to fly to the west of Ireland on the final leg of his Irish visit.
