During the 1983 All-Ireland Senior Football Final, Mick Dunne does not hold back in his description of this bad-tempered game between Dublin and Galway.

Dunne comments "I'm just watching players niggling and punching each other in the ribs" and describes the game as "a bad tempered final". He continues "When one player beats another, they extract vengeance on each other. It has to stop".

Ray Hazley and Thomas Tierney are both sent off.
