Reporter Donal Kelly asks Captain O'Neill if he has any comment to make on southern Minister for Agriculture Mr Blaney's claim that the "Irish people of the six counties" should withhold their votes from candidates who stood for union with Britain.
Captain O'Neill responds by saying that he hopes "the south won't interfere in our election. It would be counterproductive". The report continues with Captain O'Neill, Eddie McAteer and John Hume casting their votes.
