    Prime Minister of Northern Ireland Terence O'Neill appeals for calm and restraint ahead of the Derry march which is due to take place tomorrow.

    O'Neill states "...with all the sincerity at my command for the exercise in Londonderry tomorrow of the maximum calm and restraint. A cooling-off period is vitally essential to enable us to get back to normality. I hope that this appeal will be reinforced by all responsible people exercising a moderating influence in every way possible."
