Mayor of Derry William Beatty and Betty Sinclair of NICRA (Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association) following their "secret" talks about the situation in Derry after the march in that city on 05 October 1968.
Neither party was prepared to comment on the content of the meeting but Betty Sinclair was optimistic about the outcome of the discussion for the Derry community.
