A north County Dublin inventor demonstrates two of his latest inventions, one of which is an improvement on the good old clothes peg.

From pegging clothes to training tomato plants, Richard Flynn from Rush has a remarkable talent for creativity.

Anybody with normal intelligence could improve on that little piece of equipment.

The clothes pegs also doubles as a play thing for kids. The Rush farmer and inventor explains the background and inspiration behind his inventions.

Ultan Guilfoyle reports for 'Off The Wall' on 27 July 1981.

Richard Flynn represented Ireland in the 1976 Montreal Summer Olympic Games for Trap (Clay Pigeon) Shooting.
