Orange bands South of the border in county Monaghan prepare for celebrations on the 12th of July.
The village of Drum has fifty four Protestants and five Catholics, one pub and three churches, one school and one Orange Hall.
On 12 July each year the Drum Orange Band crosses the border to march at Enniskillen and Armagh. This report shows the picnic rehearsal in nearby Doohat for the 12th. The Drum band did not attend as someone had lost the key to the Orange Hall. The picnic went ahead regardless and Orange bands from Druminan, Drumate and the band from Doohat itself.
The Ulster Scotts of Monaghan are on the march.
