A look at St Patrick's Day parades in Waterford city, Portlaoise, Cork, Limerick, and Achill Island.

Crowds throng the streets across Ireland to catch a glimpse of the marching pipe bands, floats, vintage cars and steam engines. The Limerick parade is led by Mayor Rory Liddy and Minister for Justice Desmond O'Malley. The parade on Achill Island shows the Keel and Dookinella Pipe Bands along with Dooagh and Dookinella school band.
