First in a series of 'Jo-Maxi' reports on minority religions in Ireland.

In the first in a series of 'Jo-Maxi' films on minority religions in Ireland, Geri Lalor meets a 13 year old Muslim Dubliner from the South Circular Road.

Ali, originally from Pakistan, came to Dublin with his family when he was three years old. Ali speaks about his daily routine and how his prayers fit in to his daily schedule. Ali attends a Christian Brothers school where he feels that he is accepted and treated just like the rest of the boys, who are predominantly Christian. He also speaks about the Muslim traditions of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

This report was broadcast on 25 January 1990.
