In 1994 the first permanent Greek Orthodox Church in Ireland was officially opened at Arbour Hill in Dublin.

Michael O'Kane reports for RTÉ News on 6 November, 1994 from the annunciation which was attended by representatives of other churches in Ireland as well as Greek, Russian and Romanian Ambassadors.

The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation is located at Arbour Hill in Dublin and is adjacent to the Hellenic School.
