The first Munster Hurling Final to be played at the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh is won by Cork.

46,000 attended the first Munster Hurling Final to be played at the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Cork dominated the a disappointing game and by half time had scored 1-10 to Limerick's 1-02 despite playing into the wind.

Shown in the brief highlights here are goals from Limerick's Éamonn Cregan who scored 4-01 on the day and Pat Moylan converting a Cork penalty.
