The Munster Senior Hurling Final will be the last game played at Páirc Uí Chaoimh before redevelopment begins.

This weekend marks the final game in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, where the reigning Senior Munster Hurling Champions Limerick face Cork for the title.

We take a look back to 1976, the year when Páirc Uí Chaoimh opened. Cork and Limerick fought it out in the Munster Senior Hurling final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh with Cork taking the title 3-15 to 4-05. Presented here are just some of the highlights from the game with commentary by Mick Dunne. The 1976 final was broadcast on 1 August, 1976.

Páirc Uí Chaoimh will undergo a €70 million redevelopment. The stadium has been the headquarters for Munster GAA since it opened in 1976.

The match will be Limerick's 46th Munster final and Cork's 81st. For the second consecutive year both teams face each other in the final with Limerick beating Cork in 2013 0-24 to 0-15.

The match kicks off at 4.00pm on Sunday 13 July and is preceded by the Minor Final between Limerick and Waterford at 2.00pm.

You can watch the game live from Páirc Uí Chaoimh on RTÉ Two, via RTÉ Player and worldwide on GAAGO.
