World's First Epidemic Simulation 2009

Ailbhe Conneely visited 'Infectious' for RTÉ News in this report broadcast on 16 April 2009. 'Infectious' was the world's first epidemic simulation and was due to begin the following day at Trinity College's Science Gallery. It was an interactive exhibition designed to show the public how easily disease and infections spread.

This report shows Conneely being infected and decontaminated as part of the simulation. She talks to Michael John Gorman, director of the Science Gallery, and Luke O'Neill, professor of biochemistry at Trinity College.
