On 14 April 1974 the programme 'This Day' visited Limerick to watch a performance of 'The Passion' play by students at the Mary Immaculate Training College. The play depicts the Passion of Christ and the segment presented here is 'The Way of the Cross'.

Nodlaig McCarthy talks to Michael O'Hara Senior Lecturer in Dramatic Art about their choice of the "old miracle morality type play".

The actors in the play are trainee national school teachers or "general practitioners" as O'Hara refers to them.
