The Dublin Fringe Festival is now underway, with its usual mix of avant garde theatre and unusual venues. One of the programming strands is a series of thirteen interconnected works by Anu bringing the 1913 Lockout to life in present day Dublin. The first in the series, 'Citizen X' starts at Jervis Street Luas Stop, and requires the audience to buy Luas tickets.
In 1998 one of the highlights of the Fringe Festival, was Corn Exchange's 'Car Show', which took place in the backseat of cars.
Colm Connelly reports for RTÉ News on 28 September 1998.
The Dublin Fringe Festival continues until 22 September.
