The Phil Lynott statue is back on Harry Street in Dublin fully repaired after being damaged back in May.
The life-size statue was originally erected in August 2005. Philomena Lynott, Dublin’s Lord Mayor Catherine Byrne, the late TD Tony Gregory were amongst those in attendance at the unveiling on the 19th of August 2005.
This RTÉ News report by Brian Finn includes interviews with Philomena Lynott, Brush Shiels and Gary Moore.
The statue commemorates the life and work of former Thin Lizzy front man Phil Lynott, who died in 1986.
