'Horizon' looks at religious vocations and the way in which religious orders attract recruits for their cause.
This extract from the programme shows 'CALL '70 - A Vocations Exhibition' being held in Limerick. At the time, this kind of event was regarded as the way forward. A spokesman for St Joseph's Young Priests Society explains that the exhibition is a selling operation. The society had identified the need to focus on adult young people because future vocations would come from the laity.
The church has a good message for the world. It has goodness to give to men and it requires many priests and religious to do this.
