Over the last few weeks on radio, television and through the newspapers RTÉ has been trying to find the five Cork school children who appeared on a 1962 episode of 'The School Around the Corner'. Three of the pupils from 50 years ago have now been found, Noel O'Driscoll, Stephen Butt and Máire Duggan.

Tonight on 'Nationwide' reporter Niall Martin meets the three fifty years after they appeared on television.

Stephen explains how the only other time he had seen the programme was through a TV rentals shop window when it was first broadcast in December 1962 as there was no television in the family home.

Noel's wife Hannah, their children and grandchildren gathered to see the five year old Noel, tell the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and sing 'Katy Daley.

Maire Duggan who now lives in Canada but is back in Ireland for a Christmas visit also recalls her television appearance.

Nationwide RTÉ One 7.00pm tonight.
