On This Day In 1962

The Second Vatican Council opened on the 11 October 1962.

Listen here to Archbishop John Charles McQuaid and Bishop John Heenan commenting on the gathering. McQuaid talks about the unity among those who have come together. Heenan talks about the differences of opnion of how "the Catholic truth regarding the revelation of God" should be presented.
