Pharrell Williams’ Happy was as the most-played song on Irish radio in 2014 with over 2.8 million air plays reported to Phonographic Performance Ireland.

Clean Bandit’s Rather Be is in second place and John Legend's All Of Me is at number 3.

The results were compiled by PPI, the body which licenses music to be broadcast on radio, TV, and over the internet in Ireland.

Hozier's Take Me To Church may have now been viewed nearly 160 million times on YouTube but it failed to make the most-played top ten and lands at No 11 on the list.
